vintage 1960's dress ...beautiful RADLEY of London cranberry moss crepe dress
true vintage 1960's Radley of London cranberry moss crepe dress with coordinating sheer floral sleeves and self tie vest
Radley is best known for it’s association with Quorum and their designers, Ossie Clark and Alice Pollock —both of whom designed for Radley.
This dress definitely has design elements that are indicative of Ossie Clark during the same era -the princess sleeves, the moss crepe (and color) was used in many of his dresses.
- sixties dolly mod thirties influenced silhouette
- fabulous princess puffed shoulder sleeves are crepe from the shoulders to elbows and then billow out to a dramatic sheer floral bishop that's elasticized at the wrists
- self-tie vest detail that can be cinched under the bust
- flattering diagonal seam detail at the sides
- back metal zipper
