1950's Cover Girl of Miami novelty print dress
vintage 1950's dress ...hubs fave COVER GIRL of MIAMI cotton fishing lures novelty print halter dress with FULL CIRCLE skirt
Cover Girl of Miami, along with Alix of Miami, Marc-el, and other popular labels of the era was one of the manufacturing businesses that sprung up in Miami, Florida in the midcentury. During the post-World War II period, the city of Miami, Florida became a leader in the development of “modern” mid 20th century design which included fashion, of course. The city’s location lent itself to modernism with a twist of tropical fun, or in this case "novelty."
Hubs favorite because of the colorful display of fishing lures along with their equally colorful names against a gorgeous turquoise background... talk about "whistle bait" - hah!
- classic bombshell silhouette with a fitted waist and full skirt

Excellent -Very good- appears to have been hardly worn. I initially noted some very small faint spots but I can't seem to find them again? Either way, if there they are hard to detect and may easily lift. And I can only see a very, very faint hint of a color variance (it's not even picked-up in the photos) at the side edges of her bodice. Price adjusted accordingly
