true vintage 1950's dress ...dior inspired Gigi Young New York floral chiffon dress with an ultra poofy 3 layer skirt

The Suzy Perette New York & Gigi Young New York labels brought Parisian designs to the U.S. in the 1950s --a registered trademark of Lombardy Dress (founded as Lombardy Frocks in 1930) and was first used in commerce in 1946.

The company was started by Max Blauner, and later Sidney Blauner acquired the right to incorporate Dior’s notions into dresses that retailed in the United States under the Suzy Perette & Gigi Young labels.

CONDITION:

Excellent. Appears to have been hardly worn. Some watermarks on underskirt that don't show when worn and may easily lift with a professional cleaning. Price adjusted accordingly.
