true vintage late 1940's - early 1950's Nelly de Grab imported fabric moss green embossed velvet skirt and coordinating solid wrap jacket top ...shown with a crinoline to display the full skirt but looks lovely without.
Nelly de Grab was born in Vienna, Austria. She and her husband Leo and her son Richard emigrated to New York City around 1939. There they founded the Nelly de Grab dress company.

Excellent - although it appears the skirt was cut on the bias and the previous owner used a steamer on it so that the hem is now uneven but could easily be evened out with a hem. Price adjusted accordingly.
